Cars for Dreamers

Sometimes the idea of a car can capture your imagination! Enter the 1947 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith… and even in her depressed state she was a beautiful hand crafted dream of a car! I dreamt of driving her across the country pulling an Airstream, the combination of her aluminum body and the aluminum of the Airstream… it was hard to imagine anything more spectacular.

Well, as sometimes happens with big dreams, they can require more of a time commitment than you can really give at the time. And by then we had another Rolls that was an absolute joy to drive. That certainly made it easier to let go of the Wraith. And it’s ok, the dream of driving a Rolls across the US (whether pulling an Airstream or not) still exists out there somewhere. Someone else will give the Wraith the TLC she needs, and she will be gorgeous for them. There are more than enough of these lovely old darlings to go around!
